The activities of research groups around the world are enabling new applications of UAS to the service and industrial sectors as well as to security structures. The DRONTEX 2024 conference will offer presentations by top experts who will present the results of current research dealing with both technical and operational innovations.
Rafaello Mariani – Associate Professor of Aeronautics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, will present an 18-month project to develop a fixed-wing unmanned aircraft platform to measure atmospheric gas concentrations.
Fabian Franz, Jonas Quinque and Felix Lorch have been developing and testing the autonomous micro glider platform as part of the REXUS GAMEon project. They have prepared a presentation on the objectives and outputs of this exceptional project for the DRONTEX conference participants.
