The integration of manned and unmanned operations and the setting of technology and communication standards for unmanned operations within U-space are important challenges that affect the drone use in services, industry and government.
Andrew Hately – UTM Concept expert and senior researcher in the Drone unit at the EUROCONTROL Innovation Hub in France – will talk about what the expansion of unmanned operations, the integration of UAS with other aviation, and the management of both types of operations means for the development of U-space in his presentation. The U-space concept is also being developed in the Czech Republic. Nikol Vašutová will talk about current projects and activities of Air Navigation Services in Czech Republic (ANS CR) in this direction.
Vladimír Foltín is the guest of honour and speaker who will be presenting at DRONTEX for the third time. This time his presentation will focus on EASA‘s initiative to promote the voluntary use of electronic conspicuity among pilots in all airspaces. The aim of this effort is to increase situational awareness and overall safety for all.
The second day of the conference will also feature a presentation by PANSA’s Rafal Paprocki, who and his colleague will talk about U-space and UTM in the context of safety and law enforcement.
